Normal equation profile direct access file

This direct access file is used to order the Normal equation matrix so that the height above the diagonal to the last non zero term is a minimum..

The order of the terms in the Normal equations will effect the time required to reduce the normal equations. By storing terms close to the diagonal it becomes possible to identify large zero vectors above the last non zero term.

A pointer to this record is in the station data file /or auxiliary parameter file. Auxiliary parameter indices are biased by the number of stations.
