Notes about GHOST input formats

• The decimal point can be placed in any column of the entry field (floating decimal). The entries for degrees and minutes must be right justified in their field. The only left justified entries should be (for esthetical purposes) the station number and the station name.
• Some entry fields are not used by GHOST. The information is simply copied to the list of input data.

• Any information in a blank field of GHOST such as column 31 of the geographic coordinate records will be lost during the adjustment.
• Comment records can be inserted in the GHOST input file anywhere after the option record and before the code 99 record. To produce a comment record, simply put any character or digit in column 1 of the record.
